PNE STANDS FOR A BETTER FUTURE.

Our wood-fired power plant in Silbitz operates under the regulations of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) based on wood. During normal operation, approximately 7 tons of wood are burned per hour in the plant to generate electricity and heat. The electricity produced in the power plant can continuously supply around 11,300 average households. The electricity is fed into the grid of the regional energy supply company. Part of the generated heat is supplied to a district heating network.

For our subsidiary PNE Biomasse GmbH, we are looking to strengthen our team at the wood-fired power plant in Silbitz near Eisenberg (Thuringia) as soon as possible with a Boiler Operator (m/f/d) in full-time on a 4-shift system. The position is initially limited.

YOUR TASKS

You operate, monitor, and maintain our steam boiler system, ensuring safe and reliable operation
Regular testing of feed and boiler water as well as documenting the results are part of your responsibilities
Additionally, you handle the acceptance and documentation of fuel deliveries
You perform cleaning, maintenance, and care work on the boiler system
Regular inspections of the entire system are also part of your tasks, as is the seamless documentation of the system's conditions
You maintain the operations log and carefully document relevant operational data and events

YOUR PROFILE

You have completed vocational training in a technical or manual profession, ideally with further training as a certified boiler operator or power plant operator (m/f/d)
Alternatively, you are willing to acquire the necessary qualification with us
You have a Class B driver's license; a forklift license is desirable
You are willing to work in a 4-shift system
You have good German language skills, both spoken and written
