For our Project Development Onshore International team, we are looking for a Business Controller / Financial Planning Analyst at our Hamburg location as soon as possible.

YOUR TASKS

  • You prepare and comment on monthly reports, conduct variance analyses, and prepare management reviews.
  • You actively participate in business planning, forecasting processes, and quarterly previews.
  • By analyzing revenue and cost developments as well as order backlogs, you create transparency for informed decisions.
  • You support the department and division management with financial questions.
    You continuously develop reports, dashboards, and relevant KPIs, for example, using Power BI.
  • You contribute to projects, such as BI initiatives, tool implementations, or special topics like M&A or integrations.
  • You actively shape FP&A processes and strengthen our function as an internal support and control unit.
  • You work closely with our international colleagues and the staff team in Hamburg.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have several years of professional experience in business controlling or as a business analyst.
  • You understand financial relationships – especially regarding cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet logic – and maintain an overview even when calculating project profitability.
  • You have experience working with revenue and order data and are characterized by strong analytical skills.
  • You are proficient in Excel; initial experience with BI tools like Power BI or MS Fabric is an advantage.
  • You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • You impress with quick comprehension, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work confidently under pressure.
  • You work in a structured manner, bring team spirit and clear communication, and are characterized by proactive action.
