PNE STANDS FOR A BETTER FUTURE.

Our wood-fired power plant in Silbitz operates under the regulations of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) based on wood. During normal operation, approximately 7 tons of wood are burned per hour in the plant to generate electricity and heat. The electricity produced at the power plant can continuously supply around 11,300 average households. The electricity is fed into the grid of the regional energy supply company. A portion of the generated heat is supplied to a district heating network.

For our subsidiary PNE Biomasse GmbH, we are looking to strengthen our team at the wood-fired power plant in Silbitz near Eisenberg (Thuringia) as soon as possible with an Electrician (m/f/d) in full-time on a 4-shift system. The position is initially limited.

YOUR TASKS

You will operate, monitor, and maintain our generator, switching, and control systems as well as the control technology.
You will independently carry out maintenance and repair work on electrical systems, lighting systems, emergency power supplies, and drive motors.
You will ensure the safe and smooth operation of the plant technology.
In case of malfunctions, you will analyze the causes of errors, initiate appropriate measures, and ensure quick troubleshooting.
You will also support plant operations during container changes, as well as loading the push floors and emptying the ash bunkers using a wheel loader.
You will identify deficiencies early and report them to the power plant management.
Accepting fuels and handing over residual materials, including the necessary documentation, will also be part of your responsibilities.
You will carefully document operational processes and relevant events in the operations logbook.

YOUR PROFILE

You have completed training as an electrician, energy systems electrician, electronics technician for industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Ideally, you have experience in the operation, maintenance, or repair of technical systems.
You have a Class B driver's license; a forklift license is desirable.
You are willing to work in a 4-shift system.
You have good German language skills, both spoken and written.
