PNE STANDS FOR A BETTER FUTURE.

Our wood-fired power plant in Silbitz operates under the regulations of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) based on wood. During normal operation, approximately 7 tons of wood are burned per hour in the plant to generate electricity and heat. The electricity produced in the power plant can continuously supply around 11,300 average households. The electricity is fed into the grid of the regional energy supply company. A portion of the generated heat is supplied to a district heating network.

For our subsidiary PNE Biomasse GmbH, we are looking to strengthen our team at the wood-fired power plant in Silbitz near Eisenberg (Thuringia) as soon as possible with a Maintenance Mechanic (m/f/d) in full-time on a 4-shift system. The position is initially limited.

YOUR TASKS

You perform maintenance and repair work on our mechanical systems and ensure their reliable operation
You troubleshoot issues during ongoing plant operations and ensure a quick restoration of operational readiness
You support plant operations during container changes, as well as loading the push floors and emptying the ash bunkers using a wheel loader
Maintenance and repair of lifting equipment and vehicles are also part of your responsibilities
Additionally, you handle the acceptance of fuels and the transfer of residual materials, including the necessary documentation
You independently carry out regular inspections and cleaning work on plant components, outdoor facilities, and traffic areas

YOUR PROFILE

You have completed training as a maintenance mechanic, fitter, mechatronics technician, or a comparable technical qualification
Ideally, you have experience in the operation, maintenance, or repair of technical systems
You possess a Class B driver's license, and a forklift license is desirable
You are willing to work in a 4-shift system
You have good German language skills, both spoken and written
