To support the global procurement department, we are looking for you as soon as possible as a Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d) for the procurement of wind turbines and substations.

YOUR TASKS

  • As a Senior Procurement Manager, you are responsible for the international procurement of wind turbines, substations, and their accessories, orchestrating procurement activities as a sub-project manager.
  • You analyze the procurement market, obtain offers, and develop the supplier strategy in close collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring its implementation.
  • Additionally, you continuously optimize the supplier portfolio, prepare the WEA selection with the team, and work out the optimum life cycle cost.
  • As part of the procurement activities, you lead negotiations for complex supply and maintenance contracts, manage procurement processes, and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
  • As a contact person internally and externally, you maintain a professional and trustworthy exchange with our international suppliers and internal departments.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree in economics, law, energy technology, or a comparable commercial education with relevant additional qualifications.
  • You have professional experience in procurement, ideally in renewable energies or in the procurement of development and large-scale projects in other industries with a procurement volume in the high double-digit million range.
  • You are experienced in negotiating procurement and supply contracts and enjoy applying your skills in an agile project environment, ideally with relevant additional training.
  • You are interested in complex interrelationships and are capable of transforming processes and your own ideas through creativity and analytical thinking.
  • You are assertive, possess negotiation skills, and have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Even if you (still) do not possess all the skills, we look forward to your application. We offer you the opportunity to develop further with us.

YOUR BENEFITS

An international working environment that continuously adapts to future challenges and evolves. This includes:

  • Remote working
  • Flexible working hours
  • Exciting development opportunities in a versatile and well-established corporation
  • Financial benefits (capital-forming benefits, company pension scheme, and group accident insurance)
  • Bike leasing and fitness offers (EGYM Wellpass)
